Jonathan Ya'akobi

Dear Reader,
I started gardening in 1984, when I got a job as a labourer in a public garden. I fell in love with the occupation and decided to study horticulture.
The trouble was I was entering a field in which I did not feel at home - chemistry, math, design, e.t.c, and started the 2 year full-time course with terrible grades.
However, I was so determined to succeed, I plowed on and against expectations, achieved my diploma.
Over the years I started developing a passion for design, for achieving harmony and balance in a garden composition, and have achieved considerable expertise in designing with plants. This was something that I would never believe I could do!
Also I'd never thought of imparting my knowledge to others before, but after reluctantly agreeing to teach one or two subjects on a gardening course, I discovered the satisfaction in sharing my knowledge and experience with people who really needed it, i.e. unemployed adults on government-sponsored training courses. I found that I could make some people, although not all, as excited about gardening as myself!
Now I have created this amazing resource to help people turn their gardens into successes. My friend – I KNOW what you need to KNOW, and I KNOW how to get you to KNOW it! Feel free to share your success stories with me…I am waiting!
